Halloween...a Couple of Weeks Late

I actually took pictures of my little Halloween craft...and then forgot to post them. So just in case you are thinking about Halloween 2011, here is a fun little idea.

1) Go to the dollar store. Pick up some cheap, plastic picture frames.
2) Grab a couple sheets of that Halloween scrapbook paper you've had for years and years because you really are going to scrapbook one day...when the kids all leave for college.
3) Look around the dollar store for more cheap, plastic Halloween stuff.

And put it all together in 15 minutes because that is all the time you have between the toddler who is refusing to take a nap, the laundry blocking the front door, and the kids that are about to barge through the door and mess up the house again.

The crow is my absolute favorite...even though my daughter is still suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome from watching her mother hack away at the pretty bird with a butcher knife. I should have maybe stopped and thought that one through a little better...like, maybe waited until she was in bed and not when she stepped out of the room for a minute to go to the bathroom and came back in to see her mother sawing her pet bird in half.

Ah, what can you do? All in the name of a good Halloween decoration.
